Has the Biker Lifestyle become PC?

By James”Topfuel”Macecari

“It is not the honor that you take with you, but the heritage you leave behind.”
Branch Rickey

Well after reading some of the comments on other posts, I just had to write and educate the crying little bitches who are claiming 1%ers are a bunch of bullies and thugs. Yes, the “Bully and Thugs Comment” is now being used in the biker lifestyle, the yuppies and wannabes have fully infiltrated the biker lifestyle. Like, are we all fucking teenagers now? Really the political correctness of the population is just sickening, if you have to cry that you are being bullied then maybe you should get out there on a damn moped.

1%ers have been the leaders in the biker lifestyle for decades, it was the 1%ers that took all the crap in the early years that has allowed you RUBS and LEOS to ride around acting like something that you are not. The only reason why you middle age fudgepackers want to dress up in leather and ride 30,000 bikes, is to act like those 1%ers you call thugs and bullies.

“This is America” or “I fought for this country and no one will tell me what patch to wear”. Plain and simple, your idiots in my opinion, for one you are uneducated blowhards when it comes to the club scene, Why? The club scene is something many men dedicate their entire lives too, they put in blood, sweat and tears for that patch they wear, the brotherhood they are a part of. In essence, “THEY EARN IT”. Now just because you may be a RUB or Weekend Warrior who don’t have the balls to join a real club, doesn’t make the rules change on the street just for you sweethearts. The internet is a funny thing, gives automatic balls to those who on the street are a bunch of punks who couldn’t fight their way out of a corner, so the internet has become the new mouthpiece to a bunch of fags who circle jerk each other on who is bigger and worse.

We’ve had a couple of Iron Order faggots on the site as of late crying and whining about how the whole club and lifestyle works, yea lol, Iron Order, there is a real faggot club. They claim they tried to mimic the way clubs were in the 50’s and 60’s, yes I just shook my head and laughed at that one. Where do they get that shit? Those decades were prime for the 1%er scene, these bunch of fags claim they don’t want to be like 1%ers, but then make a stupid statement like that. Which one is it? You either don’t want to be a 1%er (Probably because you can’t handle the prospect time) or you don’t? Yea it must be hard being apart of a so-called club that was founded by a former ATF agent.

Now who’s the blame for all the crap going on within the lifestyle? Well, I would have to bet on Harley-Davidson and Kurt Sutter, after all, the company has targeted middle age wannabees since the early 90’s, then you have Kurt Sutter come along and make the fake ass portrayal of club life in the Sons of Anarchy. Both are responsible for giving rubs and wannabees the balls to think that they can come into the lifestyle and change decades of tradition. The only thing that was cool about the SOA was the music, nothing was based on true facts of what a 1% club is all about, and by the way who kills off the main character the way he did? For one, no club would hold the dude responsible after a gun was being pulled, no matter the other circumstances. You really dropped the ball on that one Sutter, killed the whole series for all the wannabee clubs out there.

So why write an article such as this? Well, it’s time someone takes away all the wet dreams of those who just think they have a right to start up a club and wear a 3 piece patch, to ignore traditions going back decades. Those traditions were put in place just for fools like those who think they don’t have to put in the work, the dedication to be apart of something more than themselves. Most important, the 1% clubs don’t need fools running around acting stupid in public, drawing attention that doesn’t have to be the focus on the club life. See you bunch of wet dreams, when you’re wearing patches and terrorize the general public, they don’t see your pansy club, they see a major club and that sticks in their mind, next thing you know the damn cops are all over the wrong club.

Here is a word of advice, if you want to wear a 3 piece patch and be apart of a club, go out and find a legit one. Yes, it will be tough because you have all these posers running around out there, but look into your local COC, those clubs listed on that site or sites are legit. If a club isn’t a part of the COC, it’s more than likely it’s not a legit club and you’re just putting in valuable time that won’t pay off in the long run.

Harley Davidson on the Ropes-News not good

By: James “Topfuel”Macecari

Harley Davidson is on the ropes. Is the Motor Company  starting to loose its grip on the market? According to many financial news sites, Harley Davidson is starting to cook the books, well continue to do so as it has so many times in the past.

“How many times will Harley-Davidson use this tactic to make its sales numbers? To me it’s suspect, and investors should be wary that things might continue to get worse before they get better.” (Source Motley Fool)

What is Harley-Davidson doing  shipping an overabundance of motorcycles to the dealerships, what could be wrong with that? Plenty, that’s because the dealerships still have an overstock of inventory they still haven’t sold. In essence, Harley-Davidson is cooking the books, this so the stock price doesn’t drop off. Why would this concern investors? If the company isn’t selling bikes, the company is losing financial strength and no longer a good investment.

I wrote “Harley- Davidson: No Longer King -Company in trouble” a few weeks back. Many were upset about some of the points that were made in the article, some were trying to give Harley-Davidson legitimacy, saying that “Harley has over 50% of the market share, they can never lose the title.” Others claimed I was bashing Harley-Davidson because I worked for the competition. No, in truth I’m just an independent blogger who rides a Harley -Davidson. No Conspiracy stuff against the company.

Harley-Davidson is in a position right now that mirrors the position they were in before the AMF sale. Strong market share, loyal customer base, and most important, being steered into the ground by corporate greed. Look closely when you walk into a dealership, what do you see? Most of a dealership facility is dedicated to clothing and accessories, be honest now, how many square feet of your local dealership is dedicated to actual motorcycle sales? How much of the sales floor is overstocked with used inventory compared to new inventory? Those observations can be very telling, the dealerships are making more money on used models then new. The market has become flooded with used products, meaning the new stuff has to wait.

This is the issue that Harley is trying to hide from investors ,when you don’t have an uptick in sales from the previous year, especially with it being quarter after quarter, people start to panic. Add the fact that Harley now has an American Company in Polaris (Whom already has a serious reputation in outdoor sports), strong competition from overseas companies like Honda, Yamaha, the market share starts to shrink. People no longer care about the “If you don’t ride a Harley, you’re not a biker”, individuals care only about personal preference and comfort, not an image.

All the news organizations that are experts in the field of financials say the same thing, Harley has to move from its pricing structure.

“But Harley’s been bucking the trend, refusing to give up the premium it charges for its bikes for the sake of market share. And as the past year proved, it lost share to rivals, even though it still does own almost half of the big-bike market.” (Source Motley Fool )

Notice it states, “Big-Bike Market”. This is a distinction that was lost on my last article. Many do not understand that it is only a class of bikes that  corners the market, it’s only one aspect of the motorcycle market. Why do you think Harley-Davidson came out with the smaller Sportster? Most of the market are not looking for a Bagger, they are not looking for a Fatboy, they are looking for a reliable bike to get around the city in, after all, most bikes are sold in major cities and suburbs.

What is my opinion on what Harley needs to do? First return to customer service, get the dealerships to rid employees thinking that if you’re not in there to buy a 20,000 bike, you must not be worth the attention. I hate going into dealerships for anything, I always go to the small independent shop, just because of that type of attitude. Another thing I would suggest is to concentrate on making something new, bring out a new class, change the line up a bit like they did with the 550s, and 750s. Finally, get back to your original customer base, the ones who stuck with you all these years, get the prices of the bikes back where the working man can afford them. Those suggestions are what most people who love the company want, something as simple as those suggestions could get Harley back on track. Will they do it? Probably not, they are now indebted to the RUBS and other investors.

Biker Bobs Joke of the Day

Stopped at traffic light, Biker Bob stared wide-eyed at a punk rocker crossing the street in front of him. The kid was a helluva sight. The punker had green, orange, yellow, and blue hair, elaborately waxed up into tall spikes sprouting from the top of his head.

Seeing the old biker staring at him, the punk rocker stopped and said, “Hey, whatcha lookin’ at, old man… Didn’t you ever do anythin’ excitin’ in your life when you were younger?”

“Hell, yeah, I sure did,” said Bob, “and that’s what worries me — ya see, about 20 years ago, I got loaded and fucked a peacock on a bet, and now I’m worried I could be your daddy.”

Growing up 1%-A Sons account Part 1 of 3

Many of us grew up during a time when stuff was pretty dam hard. I grew up with 3 brothers in Chicago. Mother worked two jobs most of her life and my Father who would have a huge impression worked in a steel mill. Times were tough, we lived in a cock roach invested 3 bedroom apartment on the Northside of Chicago in a mostly Latino neighborhood. My pops moved to Chicago when he was 14 from Oceana West Virginia. He lived a hard and screwed up life. His father,my grandfather was an old school coal miner and the meanest drunk West Virginia ever seen. I can remember being told a story about my grandfather. One day he got on one of his drunking rages and beat my grandmother up. The cops were called to the house, my grandfather was waiting for the sheriff on top of a hill. Everyone knew each other back then since the town was so small. He said ” Listen up Mike, I have one bullet in this revolver for you and one for me. Make your choice”. Lets just say the sheriff let the situation cool off. Dam Grandfather was so mean the town showed up to the funeral to make sure he was dead.

I now know those days for my father haunted him. He was also a drunk. A mean one at that. He would give us a beating for just about anything. One of the biggest mistakes that we could make as boys was for him to catch us crying or loosing a fight. I remember one time the school called. Told him I’d been in a fight at school and got a bloody nose or some crap. He specifically asked “Did he win? Cause if not he has another ass whooping coming when he gets home”. Yea the threat of an asswhooping from him installed in me if I ever got into a fight I better dam well make sure I did everything I could to win it.

When I was about 10 my father and his friends started hanging around a motorcycle club in the area. When I turned 11 he was a full patched member and always out on the weekends. During the week after he got out of work he would be hanging with his brothers. It was always a point of contention with my mother. After a while she just accepted him being gone all the time. Shit it actually was a quiet time around the house and ass whoopings got lesser the more he was with the club.

When I turned 13 my pops started bringing me around all the guys. It was a sight to see, all those Harleys and Triumphs was an amazing experience. My favorite part of being taken around the guys as a huge Rotty named “Rex”. It was the security for the clubhouse. Mean ass mother he was, but he was as nice as could be too me. As the year went on my pops would bring me to the clubhouse more and more. I became close friends with another members son. We are still the closest of brothers till this day. One thing that didn’t matter was race. It was a white/latino club. Being in a Latino neighborhood I was able to get the biker culture from both sides.

14 was the first time I got laid. Yes It was my birthday and my pops came up too me and told me to hit the back room. The room is where the guys held all of their meetings. I thought I was about to get my ass whooped and didn’t even know why. My pops closed the door and said make me proud. About 10 minutes later a 25 year old stripper came into the room and my world was rocked. My ol my can I still remember that day like it was yesterday. We were in the room for about 30 minutes, I blew my cherry bomb and she left the room. About 5 minutes later I heard my pops yelling for me to get out of the room now. When I came out all the guys from the club were out in the bar area yelling up a storm and giving me the high 5. Talking about becoming a man that day, and even better all those people cheering you on for popping your cherry.

maxresdefault

Another big moment for me came when my pops got me a 1977 cb750 piece of shit when I was 15. Actually it was a frame and box of parts, couldn’t even call it a scooter because shit was everywhere and not assembled at all. “Here’s your ride, everyday after your chores and school I better see you putting this thing together.” He threw me a box of tools and I had at it. Man I remember I had no dam clue what I was doing. When I would ask my pops for help he smack the shit out of me and tell me if I could read I could do it my dam self. It took me a year and a half to get that bike up and running. I didn’t have nothing but a year and a half of busted up knuckles and pride with that dam bike lol.

By time I was 16 my pops was full time club member. Got rid of his steel mill job and told my mother he was finished. Couldn’t take the ragging any longer from her. I choose to go with my pops while my brothers chose to stay with my mother. My pops got a 1 bedroom house a few miles where I grew up. He had a stripper as a new ol lady, stupid bitch was high or drunk most of the time but she was cool too me. She was one of those broads that would make you shake your head every time she talked. I especially liked her because she would bring her friends over from the strip club all the time. Yea it was a high school kids dream let me tell you.

Tune in for Part 2 on Monday of the article which will talk about Hard Times for my pops and the club
